One of my favorite things about photography is seeing previous clients, over and over again! I must say the first time this mama came to visit me, I was a bit nervous! Only about a year into my photography business had passed at that point and I was photographing her newborn….the newborn of a midwife! I thought I would be judged for all of my poses and interrupted for not doing things, “by the book”. But I quickly found out even though this mama delivered babies for a job, she was just getting to know this whole newborn thing herself! She must have liked something I was doing because she came back again and again so that I could follow her first-born to ONE.

Now, fast-forward a couple years later and I’m photographing her second precious babe.

If only Claire was as easy as her brother 😉 It may have taken us an hour+ to get her to sleep, however once she gave in, we won with some gorgeous images…

So glad I’ve had the chance to get to know this sweet family and thankful that I am trusted to capture some of the most precious highlights of their life!
